About Agility

Agility is an exciting dog sport that offers a great opportunity for you and your dog to bond while staying physically active. The sport involves directing your dog through an obstacle course made up of tunnels, jumps, weave poles, and contact obstacles. Agility is suitable for all kinds of dogs, regardless of their size, and handlers of all ages can participate.

Agility can be trained and competed at different levels, from basic to advanced, depending on your dog's skills and your goals. It can be a fun hobby or a serious competition where you can compete against other dog and handler teams at top-level national and international events.

To start with agility, you and your dog learn basic agility skills and safety measures. It's important to ensure that your dog is in good physical condition before starting agility, as it can be physically demanding. Regular warm-ups and cool-downs can help prevent injuries.

Agility is a highly rewarding sport for both you and your dog, offering numerous physical and mental benefits, such as improved coordination, endurance, and focus. If you are looking for a fun and challenging activity to do with your dog, agility might be just what you need!
