About Piper

Piper M Novick is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and Animal Behavior College graduate (ABCDT) Piper has trained professionally most of her life, her career in dog training began with dog sports at the age of 10. As a successful agility competitor, having trained and titled six of her own dogs, and competing at the top national and international tournaments, Piper brings a unique skill set to her dog training programs for the everyday dog owner and dog sports competitors.

She is passionate about educating owners and training dogs using a force-free and compassionate approach in every case. Over the years, Piper's training has progressed from training basic life skills and agility to a focus on behavior issues such as fearful dogs, aggression issues, reactive behavior, or arousal issues. Her work in behavior consulting has given Piper a wealth of knowledge to carry into other areas of training such as her role as an agility coach.

And Piper is a long-time agility competitor and handler, with competitive experience at multiple national tournaments since 2013, and internationally at the European Open (2016) and Junior European Open (2017). In addition to competing Piper is a well-versed agility instructor, teaching dogs and their owners since 2014. She is passionate about the sport and stays active in agility while currently training her young Border Collies Kale and Bee, and a hound mix Gracie.

Piper currently accepts agility students at multiple training locations in Colorado offering group classes, private lessons, and seminars. 

Happy Dogs Colorado training facility

Our premier training facility provides 15120 square feet of indoor space with a dirt and rubber mixture surface, creating a comfortable and safe environment for all training activities.

Located in the beautiful town of Larkspur, CO, our facility is just 45 minutes south of Denver and 30 minutes north of Colorado Springs. With easy accessibility off I-25, our facility is a convenient destination for all dog owners.

Team Spirit Agility

Team Spirit Agility is a training center in Arvada, Colorado with a 5400-square-foot agility arena with state-of-the-art turf flooring and a smaller arena that is 3500 square feet with interlocking mat flooring, in addition, training is offered outside on grass during warmer months. 

CVSG Sports Arena

Colorado Veterinary Specialty Group (CVSG) offers a 70 x 100 turfed, heated, indoor training arena located in Littleton, CO. This location is climate controlled and offers an excellent environment for agility training.

Pricing for Agility

The price fluctuates based on the location, this is influenced by the expenses associated with facility rental and overhead costs.

30-Minute Lesson:

HDC = $50.00 per lesson
TSA = $55.00 per lesson
CVSG = $55.00 per lesson

60-Minute Lesson:

HDC = $90.00 per lesson
TSA = $95.00 per lesson
CVSG = $95.00 per lesson

Classes & Seminars

$35-$65 per hour *Varies greatly dependent on class, topic, duration, length of session, and location
