Behavior Modification

What Is Behavior Modifcation?

Behavior modification (B-mod) refers to the process of changing a dog's behavior and emotional responses. This can be accomplished by conditioning and shaping new behaviors, aiding a dog to desensitize to a particular stimulus, or utilizing counter-conditioning for a dog to respond differently to a specific situation.

Rather than relying on the traditional obedience approach to dog training, which has proven ineffective in addressing behavior challenges, we prioritize identifying and addressing the root causes of your dog's behavior struggles. By tailoring our approach to your unique needs and focusing on specific challenges, we aim to help you and your dog achieve the best possible outcomes.

The success and pace of a behavior training plan can depend on the human's dedication to the training, the gravity of the problem, the unique personality of the dog, and the possibility of needing veterinary-prescribed medications. Behavior modification may come with an open-ended time frame.

Our training always utilizes humane, scientifically-backed, and force-free methods.
